Culturecom Limited (“the Company”) is pleased to announce the final resolution of all legal proceedings regarding the ownership of the intellectual property rights for the legendary comic book series "Little Rascals" (小流氓) and "Dragon and Tiger Gate" (龍虎門).

The litigation, which centered on protecting the Company's core assets against infringement, has formally concluded following a decisive period of legal action. The High Court of Hong Kong previously granted an injunction in favor of Culturecom, citing a 20-year history where the Defenants, including Jade Dynasty Publications Limited and Mr. Huang Yulang, expressly acknowledged Culturecom's ownership through various licensing agreements. In his judgment, the Honorable Judge Lok ruled that this long-standing status quo, which has existed since 1983, must be legally protected.

The dispute reached its definitive end through a formal public acknowledgment by the Defendants. In a declaration published in the South China Morning Post on October 6, 2022, Mr. Huang Yulang and Jade Dynasty Publications Limited officially confirmed that all intellectual property rights to the "Little Rascals" and "Dragon and Tiger Gate" comic books are owned solely by Culturecom Limited. Furthermore, they formally acknowledged that Culturecom Limited stands as the sole copyright owner of these works.
